Memorial Tribute – Noble Robinson
Noble A. Robinson, age 96, was born May 14th, 1915 at Cabot, Ark. to P. Arthur Robinson and Bertie Howell Robinson. He died on Feb. 27th, 2012. He was the husband of Martha Jane Aber Robinson for 59 years. He graduated from Cabot High School and attended Arkansas Tech at Russellville, AR. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He worked for the Veteran’s Administration Regional Office in Little Rock. He was a member of the Park Hill Christian Church, the AARP, NARFE, Arkansas Genealogical Society and Arkansas Orchid Society. He was a lover of photography and the growing of plants.
He is survived by his two sons: Alan Robinson, Barry and wife Greta Robinson, and granddaughters: Elise and husband Paul Orlando and Holly and husband Steve Holmes. Great-grandchildren: Dakota, Chayton and Skyla Holmes, Dante and Ronan Orlando. He was also survived by several nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and a care giver of four years, Dale Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, four infant sisters, a brother, Leslie Robinson, Sisters: Mildred Henley and Marie Keathley.
Services were held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home at 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock on Friday, March 2nd, 2012. The Reverend Miles Cook, Pastor of Park Hill Christian Church and Reverend Jim Farmer officiated. Interment followed at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
