HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE
Sunday, March 20: Palm Sunday Worship, 10:30 a.m.
Our children will participate in our traditional Processional of Palm Branches at the beginning of the worship service. The Chancel Choir will present an Easter Cantata, “You Are the Christ!” Following worship there will be a Fellowship Dinner in the Christian Family Life Center.
Thursday, March 24: Maundy Thursday Worship, 7:00 p.m.
In observance of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples, his trial, and his crucifixion, a service of communion, scripture readings, and prayer will be held in the sanctuary at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, March 25: Good Friday, 7:00 a.m.
Our annual 24 hour Prayer Vigil begins
Saturday, March 26: Omelet Feast, 7:00 a.m.- noon.
Children’s Easter Celebration, 10:0 a.m. – noon
Sunday, March 27: Easter Sunday Worship*
9:00 a.m. Cross Roads Worship (casual and contemporary)
10:00 a.m. Classes for all ages
11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship*
*Please bring flowers with a 2-4 inch steam which will be placed on the Living Cross during both worship services.
Egg Omelet Feast
An All You Can Eat Disciples Men Fellowship Egg Omelet Feast will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in the Christian Family Life Center. Hours are from 7:00 am to 12 noon.
The cost is $7.00 for adults, $3.00 for children 12 and under. This is a great opportunity for our Disciples Men Fellowship to reach out to our community. Proceeds are used to support the continuing ministries of the Disciples Men.
Children’s Easter Celebration
All children age 3 through 5th grades are invited to our annual Children’s Easter Celebration on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. We will enjoy crafts, refreshments, egg-dyeing and our traditional Easter Egg Hunt. Kids, bring your Easter basket! In case of rain, all activities will be held indoors.
